Job description

Devops Engineer / Python Developer
Poznań, partly remotely
PLN 6000-9000 net, B2B, permanent work

We require:

Basic skills on Linux server with focus on: Iptables, logs, cron, backup and basic nginx configuration
Minimum B2 English (Written and spoken)
Knowledge of automating/organizing tools and the desire to learn more (ex.: Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, Sentry)
Intermediate programming skills in Python 2.X and/or Python 3.X
At least 1 year of experience as IT administrator, DevOps, or Python programmer
Assets:
Knowledge of database management (PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Cassandra)
Knowledge of message broker systems (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ)
Knowledge of web scraping issues (proxies, load balancing, etc.)
Experience with infrastructure scaling
Passion and enthusiasm for learning new things

Alphatech Engine is a young, fast growing international startup in the field of e-commerce / business intelligence. Our website will become public soon and we have already investors. Work will be temporarily remote, but we plan to open an office soon in Poznan, so we are looking for people living in or willing to move to Poznan or its surroundings.

What will you do with us:

Build scalable infrastructure for our distributed systems and micro-servers
Support and eventually develop our crawling system (written in python)
Write python scripts for automation, monitoring, scheduling, etc.
Be a key member of the team with a real impact on the decisions made
