    Job description

Truly enthusiastic Senior UX Designer :)

Come to join a team of people who are doing what really fulfills us, in a way we really enjoy :)

What makes us feel this way?

    • We’re working on a super interesting topic that is fundamentally reshaping the way of shopping at Allegro for millions of its users.
    • This topic is a high priority for the company and so it gets the support it deserves.
    • We have a first version already on a production, a lot of updates already designed and development teams intensively working on them, so we’re moving to the exiting phase of observing first data and defining next steps on their basis.
    • We are shaping the way we work by ourselves and we are doing it in a way that makes the most sense for all of us, so we can enjoy our work and find it truly fulfilling.
    • We help and advise each other, so you won’t be in it alone and you can get lots of inspiration from your colleagues. We, in turn, will be looking forward to getting inspiration from you :)

We are looking for people who:

    • Are opened to discuss their UX topics in English on daily basis (so have fluent English on min. B2 level)
    • Are naturally passionate about creating the best possible customer experience and do their job simply because they genuinely enjoy it and find it fulfilling.
    • Literally need a lot of communication with people to be happy at work - because communication is what UX is all about :)
    • Are interested in active cooperation with colleagues and don’t try to be a unicorns who “do everything by themselves”.
    • Have at least 3 years of experience in designing mobile/desktop web and ideally mobile applications (iOS/Android) too.
    • Love experimenting and are not shy to have bold ideas, propose hypotheses and verify them
    • Are truly curious about users, their problems and solutions they are looking for
    • Are able to use a Figma and visualize their ideas
    • Have strong verbal and visual presentation skills that communicate the process, approach and impact of your design

    Must have for the application:

A portfolio featuring examples of your design process and problem-solving skills.

The following can also be a plus:

    • Experience in designing for e-commerce industry
    • Have experience in internationalization and cross-cultural design

If you don't have tons of experience from different companies yet, but you still feel like you can inspire your senior colleagues with your UX ideas and way of thinking about improving the user experience, don't hesitate to contact us!

    What we offer:

    • A hybrid work model that you will agree on with your leader and the team. We have well-located offices (with fully equipped kitchens and bicycle parking facilities) and excellent working tools (height-adjustable desks, interactive conference rooms)
    • Annual bonus up to 10% of the annual salary gross (depending on your annual assessment and the company's results)
    • A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan – you choose what you like (e.g. medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers)
    • English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job
    • Macbook Pro / Air (depending on the role) or Dell with Windows (if you don't like Macs) and other gadgets that you may need
    • Working in a team you can always count on — we have on board top-class specialists and experts in their areas of expertise
    • A high degree of autonomy in terms of organizing your team’s work; we encourage you to develop continuously and try out new things
    • Hackathons, team tourism, training budget and an internal educational platform, MindUp (including training courses on work organization, means of communications, motivation to work and various technologies and subject-matter issues)
    • If you want to learn more, check it out

In your daily work you will handle the following tasks:

    • Be involved in identifying the needs and solving the problems of Allegro users in Poland and in international markets
    • Work with the best data analysts, researchers, product managers and other designers
    • Develop solutions to be used by millions of people
    • Be responsible for the entire design process

Why is it worth working with us?

    • We work together to develop a platform which is well known to all your friends and family – and we have fun doing it
    • We shape a safe environment and we support each other
    • We respect each other’s needs and work style
    • We organize feedback sessions during which you can consult with others about your projects
    • A range of different skills are represented within our team, which helps us to look at problems from various perspectives and to learn from each other
    • We do design work relying on data and research results – we have the time, budget and tools necessary to select the best solutions
    • We use professional tools for research, analysis and data collection
    • We are one of the largest teams of UX designers and researchers in Poland, which will allow you to unleash your true potential, especially if you like exploring, testing and verifying interesting ideas
