    Senior Back-End Developer

    • Employment type: B2B
    • Salary: 25 000 - 35 000 PLN net/month - (negotiable + option for ESOP and salary increase after the trial period)


    We are a rapidly growing startup, specializing in cutting-edge vehicle fleet management solutions. Our commitment to innovation and our dedication to enhancing logistics and mobility solutions puts us at the forefront of the industry.


    We are presently seeking a Senior Back-End Developer with a minimum of 10 years of experience. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development of Aleet's products and their integration with our clients' platforms.

    Job responsibilities:

    • Write well-structured, reusable and testable back-end code for our responsive fleet management software that is operating on real time data;
    • Develop and maintain high-quality backend code for seamless integration with client platforms;
    • Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to understand client requirements and deliver scalable integration solutions;
    • Design and implement APIs and service architectures that facilitate efficient data exchange and functionality between systems;
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backend integration and performance. Optimize application for maximum speed, scalability, and security;
    • Work extensively in front-end/back-end integration;
    • Participate in code review and ensure adherence to code quality and best practices;
    • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance;
    • Collaborate with the team members and other teams at Aleet to provide high-quality fleet management solutions, with attention to scalability and reliability.


    Skills and qualifications:

    • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field;
    • Scientific and mathematical background for qualified programming;
    • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in backend development, with significant expertise in integration projects;
    • Proficiency with a strong track record in back-end development (Python, Java, or relevant) ,
    • Strong experience with RESTful API design and implementation;
    • Experience in cloud computing (preferably AWS - Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3);
    • Experience in Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) solutions;
    • Knowledge of software design patterns and software architecture;
    • Experience with software engineering tools, e.g., Git, CI, CD;
    • Code quality techniques (Unit/Integration tests writing, scenarios designing, working with code review and documentation);
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure;
    • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills;
    • Knowledge of Polish that allows you to communicate freely (C1) and good command of English (B2).


    Desirable experience:

    • C++, GraphQL, Front-End frameworks (Vue.js and Angular);
    • Familiarity with optimization and machine learning techniques;
    • Analyze and decompose complex software systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence design for scalability and testability;
    • Experience with code profiling and optimization;
    • Experience with containerization software (Docker);
