Job description

Online interview
In short:
Our DevOps Team is 30+ highly qualified specialists that create and support infrastructure for 4 huge products with 50+ milion customers. And now we are looking for Linux Systems Administrator to strengthen that team.

Your Responsibilities:
- Linux server administration including installation, configuration, maintenance, security patching and troubleshooting;
- System monitoring and performance tuning and scaling of infrastructure as needed;
- Security research, upgrades and OS patching;
- Automate server builds using configuration management, operating system migration and integration of monitoring tools;
- Research and evaluate new technologies, monitoring and infrastructure as code tools.

What we expect from you:
- Linux administration experience;
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills (network, hardware, OS, performance-related problem);
- Understanding of protocols and concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, NFS, CIFS, HTTP, SSL, LDAP;
- Strong configuration management and scripting experience using Bash, Python or other language;
- Experience in designing, building and operating large-scale production systems in SaaS type environments;
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V).
As a plus:
- Practical knowledge of information security best practices;
- Some DevOps experience (Git, CI/CD, configuration management);
- Database experience (MySQL, Postgress);


Few words about our recruitment process.

We have only 3 stages of consideration:

1) Pre-screening interview with a recruiter (approximately 30 minutes) The recruiter
 will tell you everything about the company / products in detail + ask a couple of questions to put together a more complete picture of the candidate and submit his resume to the team for approval.
 
 2) Technical interview (approximately 1.5 hours)
The guys will just go through what is indicated in the resume and ask about what they themselves work with (It will not be boring)

3) Final interview with VP of Engineering (about 1 hour)
There will be a couple of technical questions (rather superficial) + acquaintance.
