    About pdfFiller team:


    We are a passionate and ambitious team of 120+ people on a mission to succeed with our online PDF creator and editor –  pdfFiller.

    pdfFiller empowers over 10 million users every month to create and edit PDFs, send them for signing, and securely store documents within a single application. Offering unlimited storage, unlimited templates, and cross-platform integration, pdfFiller is the only PDF editor needed to get your document done.


    And now, we are looking for Engineering Manager a who is prepared to contribute to the next chapter of our company's growth.


    Responsibilities - Development:

    • Projects and tasks estimation, technical decomposition;
    • Be responsible for new features delivery and implementation;
    • Pre-release validation;
    • Be deeply involved in the release process, manage and improve it;
    • Observance of ceremonies and artifacts within the team;
    • Be responsible for technical metrics after release;
    • Implement KPI and team performance metrics and technical metrics of the project (team, block);
    • Be responsible for frontend architecture and code quality;
    • Take active participation in product incidents, research problems and report improvements;
    • Handling requests from other teams and covering cross-team communication;
    • "Support" relevant parts of the product within the cross-team work;

    Responsibilities - People management:

    • Planning, hiring, and managing the team's headcount;
    • Conduct job interviews and create onboarding plans for new colleagues;
    • Give frequent and actionable feedback to support your team's development;
    • Create and control of achievement the individual development plan;
    • Initiate one-to-one performance review meetings with the team members;
    • Approve all teams requests (vacation, sick leaves, invoices, bonuses);
    • Lead formal and informal teams' internal communication (daily standups, team buildings, birthdays, etc)


    What we expect from you:

    • English B2+
    • 5+ years of previous software development and engineering leadership experience in a fast-growing SaaS or technology company;
    • 'Experience with Microfrontends architecture - preferable Nx.js with ModuleFederation
    • Experience with e2e testing - preferable Cypress
    • Strong knowledge of frontend stack and understanding of backend, quality assurance;
    • Technology stack- React, TypeScript, Jest and React Testing Library, State management library (preferred Zustand), React-query
    • Ability to deliver high-quality products within a fast-pacing, entrepreneurial, purpose-driven environment;
    • Led successful engineering teams, including mentoring engineers;
    • Experience recruiting top talent;
    • The ability to work with a high level of autonomy and responsibility;
    • Experience with Agile development methodologies;
    • Complete understanding and experience of product development and operations processes.


    What helps you rock:

    • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar discipline.
    •  Knowledge of Selenium with Java
    •  Knowledge of MSW mocking library
    • Experience with AB testing approach
