The Card Servicing Engineering team is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Software Engineer with a high level of technical capability, strong cross-functional communication, and a creative mindset to help build the tools and systems that will enable customer operations agents to efficiently provide Affirm Card users with an exceptional service experience, while also reducing compliance risks and servicing costs.


Affirm Card is Affirm’s newest strategic financial product that marries the functionality of a debit card with access to Affirm’s buy now pay later financing options. Affirm Card is experiencing explosive growth. Millions of customers across thousands of merchants in-store and online are using it every day, and our contribution will be a key enabler of continued growth.

What You'll Do


  • Build, optimize, and scale the next generation of Affirm’s web apps.
  • Define, prioritize, and build product requirements from across Affirm.
  • Take ownership of planning project work and proactively identify opportunities to improve business processes.
  • Scoped, define and execute projects based on a feature/product spec or requirements.
  • Influence the features and direction of the product and platform with your own ideas.


What We Look For


  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer; building, launching and maintaining front-end products at scale.
  • Technical: modern front-end tech stacks (E.g. React, TypeScript, Webpack, CSS3.)
  • 1+ years of experience (ideally) Python, Java/Kotlin, or other modern programming languages
  • Collaborative: track record of successful cross functional collaboration especially with product managers, and engineering counterparts
  • Potential: ability to grow alongside a fast growing company and team.
  • Passionate about Affirm's Mission: "Deliver Honest Financial Products that improve lives"


Compensation & Benefits


We offer a competitive package, with some highlights listed below. However, the given figures are not guaranteed compensation ranges; rather, they are unbinding, approximate indications of what the salary may be for your awareness. The actual salary may be less than the lower range or greater than the upper range, depending on skills and experience. No employee is guaranteed salary at the amount of the lower range.

Pay Grade - POL29

Employees new to Affirm or promoted into a new role, typically begin in the min to mid range.


POL base pay range per year: 

Min: 226,100 zł

Mid: 282,600 zł

Max: 339,100 zł

Location - Remote Poland


The majority of our roles can be located anywhere in Poland.
