Job description
We are currently looking for a highly motivated and open-minded DevOps Engineer, who wishes to gain knowledge and practical experience on tools, techniques and technologies used in modern software development. You will actively cooperate with R&D developers and test teams around the world in development of new generation of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines for development teams in cloud environment. This position will require team work competences. The successful candidate will be a high energy individual, internally motivated and able to work in agile team without day to day supervision. Candidate should be also a flexible person who finds himself in variable project’s environment.
Other tasks and responsibilities
- Automation of software production stages (build/test/assembly/deployment) – Jenkins environment (DSL’s and pipeline jobs)
- Design and deployment of infrastructure as a code (chef/docker/kubernetes)
- Perform code reviews
- Create documentation of software production components/services
- Performance analysis and enhancements
- Defect investigation and formulating bug fixes
Valuable knowledge, skills and experience
- Operating Systems (Linux)
- Source Control Management (gerrit/gitlab/subversion)
- Continuous Integration (jenkins/gitlab)
- Configuration Management tools (chef)
- Containers technology (docker, kubernetes)
- Monitoring (zabbix)
- Security (coverity, blackduck)
- Development Skills: experience in scripting especially shell, python, groovy
- Basic experience with OOP and databases
- Soft Skills: good analytical, diagnostics and troubleshooting skills, good communication skills
- Good written and spoken English
