Data Services Team is a part of Adform‘s DEV & IT department located in Warsaw and Vilnius. Together with Cloud Services, Datacenter & Network and Security teams and in close cooperation with DevOps Group, we ensure, that our global infrastructure is operating at highest availability, is scalable, reliable, secure and provided services for our clients and stakeholders ensure stable Adform platform as well as continuously improved infrastructure to achieve Adform product development goals.

💡 Your responsibilities:

• Drive and deliver database and middleware technical roadmap
• Strong partnership with architects to ensure right DB or/and MW technologies are selected for certain projects
• Maintain and build strong delivery culture in the team
• Nurture and grow strong engineering talent
• Create and mediate environment to establish transparency and information flow within team
• Ensure that people are motivated, engaged and collaborate across the organization
• Oversee operational expenses of the team (examples: business trips, education, offsites, etc.) as well, as agreements and invoices of your team‘s services
• Advocate Adform DNA (values) and development culture

✅ We expect you:

• Have a passion to dabase and middleware technology
• Delivered engineering initiatives
• Have substantial experience in working within technical companies or areas
• Have technical experience and strong understanding about major DB & MW technologies
• Have extensive experience in leading software or infrastructure engineering teams
• Have knowledge and experience working under Scrum framework
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Are fluent in verbal and written English language
• Have strong ownership mindset

• Have certification in database and middleware technologies
• Practical complex projects experience with managing and providing DB & MW as a service
