Job description
Responsibilities:
- Designing and building a scalable data processing architecture
- Building data processing applications based on Cloud and Apache tools
- Construction of an application that will aggregate, process and analyze data from a variety of sources
- Creating advanced database queries and procedures in SQL, NoSQL
- Cooperation with Data Science in the field of Machine Learning projects (including text / image analysis, construction of predictive models)
- Supporting younger colleagues in the implementation of tasks related to Big Data / Data Engineering
REQUIREMENTS:
- Having min. 3 years of experience in implementing projects related to the development or maintenance of Big Data systems (preferred in the Hadoop, AWS or Google Cloud environment)
- Advanced SQL, NoSQL knowledge
- Experience in working at min. one of the mentioned environments: Hadoop, Spark
- Experience in writing scalable Java or Scala or Python applications
- Higher education in technical or mathematical studies
- Initiative and good organization of own work
- Knowledge of Data Science domain will be great asset
