Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to help us improve our infrastructure by deploying, automating, monitoring, and maintaining our environments, servers, and applications for their stability, performance, and security. You will troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with ADB experts and client engineering teams. You will work on Graphyne™, a pay-TV management system and content aggregation platform used by millions of users every day. Are you ready for this journey?

Location: Poznan or Zielona Gora office, Poland (hybrid, up to 2 days per week from home)

What will you do?

• Installing core modules on Virtual Machines (Linux OS) and their configuration using orchestrator, as well as installing and configuring of Databases,
• Deployment of ADB solutions to the internal and external environments,
• Developing automation scripts using Ansible,
• Monitoring and maintenance of our environments, servers, and applications in terms of stability, security, performance, and functioning,
• Preparing technical documentation and deployment architecture,
• Cooperating with internal teams (especially DevOps & Software Engineers, and the NOC department) and customer engineering teams

What’s important for us?

• Senior working experience as DevOps Engineer/ System Administrator or related (about 5 years) using container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (preferred) or Docker Swarm,
• High expertise in Linux OS (RedHat preferred), and deployment automation (Git, Ansible, Jenkins, Python, Bash),
• Senior knowledge of network protocols (HTTP, AMQP, MQTT), relational DBs (PostgreSQL, MySQL), and monitoring tools
• Strong sense of ownership and problem-solving attitude – DevOps is a versatile specialist with a comprehensive outlook, who uses their engineering mindset to find the best solutions
• Team player – We want you to work like us: proposing and implementing your best ideas based on your expertise. But don’t forget that our products are created by a wide variety of specialists. You have to be open-minded and listen to others, but in the end, you are the one who decides how best to do your job.

Additional skills, which allow better find yourself at work:

• Experience with ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
• Experience with Grafana/ Prometheus monitoring tools
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with VMware and Red Hat Satellite
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certifications
