QA Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who will help us ensure reliability, performance, and seamless user experience across our applications. If you enjoy digging into how things work, spotting what others might miss, and collaborating with engineers to build better products—this role is for you.

Location: Poznan (hybrid option up to 2 days per week after onboarding)

This is a temporary replacement position.

What will you do?

• Test and verify ADB software quality using both manual and automated tests (including the development of automated tests, which accounts about 20% of your working time),

• Perform functional and non-functional tests (e.g. security or performance),

• Review requirements, analyze functionality, and adjust test plans accordingly,

• Develop test scripts and manage test environment,

• Report test results and defects found,

• Closely collaborate with your team and software departments,

• Share knowledge and expertise with the team.

What’s important for us?

• Autonomy backed by professional experience (2+ years) in testing web applications as must have (mobile and embedded as nice to have)

• Solid knowledge of applications testing methods,

• Hands-on experience with test management tools (TestLink preferred) and set up and managing related test environments,

• Ability to adjust test plans and effectively report issues,

• Familiarity with Git/ Gerrit,

• Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to see the bigger picture,

• Strong interpersonal skills and ease in building relationships across teams,

• A sense of ownership, a goal-oriented mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving,

• English & Polish language skills – ADB is an international company and our language is English; the closest team communicates in Polish.

Additional skills which help you find your feet at work?

• Experience with mobile testing tools (Android Studio, Xcode, Android Logcat)

• Knowledge of traffic interception tools (proxy tools)

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD processes and test automation integration (e.g. Jenkins)

• Basics of DevOps tools (Docker/ Docker Swarm, Ansible).

• Basics to intermediate skills in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript scripting;

• ISTQB certification (Advanced level is a plus)

• Knowledge of  security and performance testing,
