We need an awesome IT Systems Administrator to join our IT crew. You'll take charge of our Microsoft Office 365 and Okta SSO setups, keeping them running smoothly and securely. If you know your way around Microsoft 365 and Okta and are a pro at solving tech problems, we want you!


We understand that finding the right balance between working in the office and remotely can be challenging. That's why we're hoping to find someone who can support us in a hybrid office setup.


Responsibilities:


Microsoft 365 Administration:

  • Oversee the day-to-day administration and management of Microsoft 365 applications and services.
  • Configure and maintain user accounts, groups, and permissions within the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Implement and manage SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business to ensure seamless collaboration and document management.


Email and Communication:

  • Administer Exchange Online, including mailbox management, email security, and distribution lists.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot email-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance of the messaging infrastructure.


Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce security best practices to protect against cyber threats and data breaches.
  • Monitor and audit Microsoft 365 security features, such as Azure AD Identity Protection and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
  • Collaborate with the security team to ensure data protection and privacy regulations compliance.


Collaboration Tools:

  • Manage Teams and other collaboration tools to enhance internal communication and collaboration.
  • Provide support and training to end-users on collaboration tools and best practices


Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

  • Investigate and resolve incidents related to Microsoft 365 applications and services.
  • Work closely with end-users to address and resolve technical issues on time.


Upgrades and Enhancements:

  • Stay abreast of new Microsoft 365 features and updates, evaluating their applicability to the organization.
  • Plan and execute upgrades and enhancements to the Microsoft 365 environment to ensure optimal performance and feature utilization.


Okta Single Sign-On Administration

  • The Okta Administrator will manage the Okta service through the Okta Console
  • Enables advanced User Lifecycle Management scenarios involving mobile devices, and security policy frameworks.
  • Support SSO options, and advanced directory integration for SaaS applications and the creation and access of ID’s.
  • Use the Okta Policy framework to control user access, understand how to map identity attributes and data transformations using Universal Directory
  • Troubleshoot any access, application, and ID issues with the Okta service.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Microsoft O365 Administrator or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security measures within the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Must have experience integrating common applications, such as Office 365, SLACK, ADP, Coupa, NetSuite, Confluence, JIRA, and Salesforce with Okta.
  • Must be proficient with Windows and MAC hardware in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience with AWS and AZURE
  • Must have strong English speaking and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in scoping and implementing intricate Okta integrations across multi-forest and multi-domain environments. Very good in advanced single sign-on (SSO), and inbound federation.


Nice to have skills:

  • Working knowledge of Okta APIs and custom configuration options.
  • Experience as an OKTA Administrator
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate are a plus.
