Virtualization Administrator

What will you do:

• Support and administration, resolving incidents affecting the operation/availability of high-profile production systems in private VMware cloud.
• Support migration process of the existing VMware environment to KVM.
• Manage and support blade and x86 servers hardware (HP, Dell)
• Work with ITIL based service processes (Incident/Problem/Change Management)
• Creating and reviewing technical design plans and diagrams.

What do we expect from you:

• At least 3 recent years working as virtualization engineer.
• Knowledge of data center networking, SAN storage.
• Strong familiarity with Linux operating systems, particularly Ubuntu, is essential.
• Infrastructure troubleshooting skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Familiarity with agile methodology and its principles.
• English – Proficient.
• Team player, can-do attitude.

Must have skills:

• Virtualization technologies:
• KVM (libvirt) - Very good experience to install, configure, maintain, patching and automation.
• VMware vSphere – good knowledge and experience to install and maintain VMware vSphere ESXi and vCenter.

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with designing and implementing pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitLab/…)
• Git
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault and Packer
