Key responsibilities:
To support the rapid growth of Industry X in Wroclaw, we are looking for Embedded Software Engineers with Set-Top-Box (STB) development experience to join our highly skilled teams. Working as an Embedded Software Engineer, you will:
- Design and develop software for the next generation of connected media products
- Collaborate with clients, team members and project managers to solve complex technical challenges
- Take part in architecture definition discussions
- Develop comprehensive designs and test plans
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, electronics engineering or related fields
- At least 3 years of working experience, including set-top-box embedded software development
- In-depth knowledge of C/C++
- Experience in embedded operating systems, Linux tools and compiler tools
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., bash, python)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and technologies (e.g., git, Jenkins)
- Basic knowledge of network and industrial communication protocols
- Familiarity with audio/video/media playback and streaming
- Digital TV-specific experience (e.g. A/V processing, conditional access, DRM) is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
