For one of our key Clients we're looking for an expert specialist for the position of:

Senior Automation Tester (Python + PyTest)

Terms of engagement:

Area: Consulting IT (project for transportation area)

Localisation: 100% remote

Start: ASAP (max 3 months notice period)

Salary rate (determined individually): 120 - 135 PLN net + VAT / h

Terms: B2B (outsourcing via 1dea), full-time, long-term

Recruitment process (100% remotely):

• Phone "hello" interview with 1dea recruitment consultant (~10 min)
• Technical and business conversation with our Client (approx. 1 hour)
• Decision to cooperate

Scope of duties:

• Creating, managing, and automating test data for efficient and reliable testing
• Define and implement automated test cases to streamline testing. Monitor execution and report on product quality for better decision-making
• Apply best practices to seamlessly integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance
• Advocate for sharing and actively promote the adoption of test automation best practices across development teams
• Collaborate on Quality: Contribute to a culture of collaboration by sharing knowledge and expertise in test automation best practices

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of software automation testing COMMERCIAL experience
• Proficiency with Pytest + Python programming expertise
• Experience with industry-standard tools like Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright or similar
• Strong skills in at least one of these languages: C#, .Net, Java, Javascript, or Ruby
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (like Azure DevOps) for Continuous Integration and Deployment, API testing, and Git version control
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
• ISTQB Foundation Certification
• English on B2+ level (daily work in English)

Nice to have skills (extra bonus points):

• API testing
• Git
• Experience in security testing (f.ex. authentication / authorization)
• Security Testing Certs f.ex. ISTQB Security Tester Certification or Comptia security+
