Android Applications Engineer (Automotive)

Your main duty is to design, develop, and maintain applications for In-Vehicle Infotainment systems, specifically focusing on creating innovative applications for Android Automotive OS. These applications, along with the entire system, are integral components of the advanced Software Defined Vehicle OS ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into IVI applications
• Provide technical guidance and support to other application engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in Android development
• Proficiency in Kotlin
• Comprehensive understanding of the Android platform
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Fluent English

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in automotive products and in-vehicle infotainment domain
• Knowledge of Android Automotive Operating System
• Proficiency in utilizing modern Android libraries, frameworks, and tools
• Working experience with multi-site, multi-national and multi-contributor teams.
