Senior DevOps Engineer
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Building, developing and setting up infrastructure and tools,
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes,
- Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results,
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats,
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’,
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended,
- Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.
Job requirements
- At least 5 years of professional programming/IT experience,
- Experience with Perforce, SVN,
- Knowledge of Python,
- Knowledge about CI/CD tools like Jenkins (preferably), TeamCity etc.
- Knowledge of English language (B2 level minimum)
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers,
- Good time-management skills,
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience with game development, Unreal Engine,
- Experience with Gitlab-CI, Github Actions, Circle-CI,
- Experience working with Azure,
- Bash, PowerShell.
