In This Role, You Will:
- Create and introduce the process of testing in our projects (defining test strategy, test plans, team recruitment)
- Coordinate the process of testing in existing projects
- Define the standards and evaluate the quality of testing
- Perform manual tests
- Write automated tests
- Prepare test reports
Must-have requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a software tester or related position
- 2+ years of experience leading projects and/or leading a team of testers
- Knowledge about testing and QA processes (preferably confirmed by ISTQB certification)
- High level of expertise in functional testing and its methods
- Familiarity with tools that support testing process (bugtracker – preferably JIRA, test management tools, e.g. TestRail)
- Perceptiveness and attention to detail, and analytical thinking
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with writing automated tests and familiarity with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, Robot framework)
- At least basic knowledge of some scripting language (preferably Python)
- Knowledge of version control systems (preferably git)
- Hands on experience with Linux
