We are currently recruiting for a Senior/Lead Cloud Engineer who is looking for the new challenge and is experienced in leading a team of skilled, technical experts. You will be happy to act as the primary escalation point within the team for complex technical issues and use your knowledge/experience with other team members and developers. Your role and responsibilities:
- Shaping the DevOps culture in the organization
- Working with the team on establishing standards and tools
- Mentoring team members, caring for their constant growth as professionals
- Participating in the design process of optimal infrastructure architecture
- Working with the top DevOps tools
- Cooperating with international clients and preparing various reports for them
- Participating in the estimation of future projects
- Working with top DevOps tools
- Expanding our current DevOps team by recruiting the right people
What we need from you:
- Experience in mentoring, taking lead on projects or managing technology-driven teams
- Ability to plan and make strategic decisions around the team composition, tech stack, introducing new solutions
- Strong, hands-on experience working in Linux (preferably Red Hat family or Ubuntu)
- Experience with public clouds (AWS), Docker and CI/CD (preferably Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Good knowledge of version control systems (Git)
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Web (Nginx, HAProxy) and SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) servers configuration
- Willingness to continuously learn and develop your/team skills
- Well organised with the ability to make autonomous decisions
- Fluent in English and Polish
We appreciate if you have:
- Some knowledge/ability to work with configuration management tools (preferably Ansible)
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring
- Experience with HashiCorp tools (Packer, Terraform, Vault)
- Ability to write scripts in Bash or Python
- Experience in working with 3-tier applications stacks
