Why this role is important for us


The mission of the API Product Area is to deliver successful and modern integration capabilities for our software systems, enhancing the core frameworks and infrastructure as well as guiding SimCorps’ business departments in delivering business solutions to our clients.  

You will be a part of the full of software development, starting with design discussions with your colleagues to develop and enhance these solutions. You will have a close collaboration with our other agile teams and solution architects. You will be working with highly experienced and skilled colleagues in an international and open environment where your proven skills will be appreciated and respected. 

 

What you will be responsible for:   

 

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and engineering teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and report on test execution progress and results 
  • Analyze functional and non-functional requirements during feature refinement 
  • Perform manual and automated tests to cover the features’ acceptance criteria. 
  • Focus on developing integration, end-to-end, API and performance tests for the existing functionality. You will be one Test Engineer in the team. 
  • Take active part in Sprint Reviews and Demo sessions 

 

What we value:  


  • 3+ years of experience in Automation Testing in .NET 
  • Solid C# programming language knowledge and experience 
  • Knowledge and experience with QA best practices, methodologies, and tools 
  • API testing experience 
  • Deep knowledge of software development and QA life cycle processes (including test planning, test case design, execution, defect tracking and reporting) 
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • English level: Upper intermediate 

 

Would be a plus: 


  • Experience working with Test Automation tools, frameworks, technologies and databases like .NET C#, REST, SQL, Azure DevOps  
  • Experience in working with Kubernetes, Kafka, RabbitMQ 
  • Experience with Swagger and OpenAPI 
  • Experience in performance testing 
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (git, TeamCity) 
  • Regression test applications prior to release into UAT and production environments 
  • Identify, isolate, replicate, report and track issues to closure in an issue tracking system (JIRA, TFS, Agility)
