IT Application Developer SAP HR

Main responsibilities:

▪ Collaborate with functional consultants to understand requirements and design technical solutions using ABAP programming language;

▪ Develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements and forms within the SAP HR systems and HR Cloud Integrations;

▪ Perform system testing, debugging and troubleshooting to ensure smooth functioning of ABAP/Cloud Integration programs;

▪ Optimize and enhance existing programs and integrations to improve performance and efficiency;

▪ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, technical teams and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery;

▪ Stay updated with the latest ABAP/Cloud Integrations developments, tools and best practices, recommending improvements;

▪ Collaborate with SAP Basis team to ensure proper system configuration and performance optimization;

▪ Document technical specifications, program codes, user guides to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain and accurate record of the implemented solutions;

▪ Provide support and assistance to end-users, addressing any issues related to ABAP programs and interfaces.

Required skills and experience / main competencies:

▪ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; 

▪ Proven experience as an ABAP Developer, with a strong understanding of SAP systems and ABAP programming language as well as SAP integration technologies;

▪ Proficiency in ABAP programming, including development of programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements and forms;

▪ Experience with SAP Modules such as HR and the ability to develop solutions within these systems: SAP HCM and SuccessFactors

▪ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot ABAP and Cloud Integrations programs;

▪ Knowledge of SAP development tools, such as ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects and Web Dynpro;

▪ Familiarity with SAP integration technologies, such as IDocs, BAPIs and RFCs.

▪ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines;

▪ Continuous learning mindset and very good English-speaking skills.
