Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer

Fully Remote Job.

Tech Stack: AWS, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Puthon (FastAPI), SQL, Docker.

Duties

·       Maintain and extend our search back-end

·       Design, develop, run and evaluate online AB-tests to improve the quality of the search results. Support operational excellence through practices like code review and pair programming

·       Actively monitoring different applications and their infrastructure as well as intervening to solve operational problems whenever they arise

·       Keep up with developments in the field of Information Retrieval (e.g. semantic search)

·       Build RAG solutions for editorial domain

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of progressively complex business programming experience in a business environment
• Hands-on programming experience using relevant languages
• Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL, ETL, and / or SSRS
• Expertise in AWS, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Python (FastAPI), Docker

Nice to have experience in:

• Vector databases, Semantic search
