Senior E-commerce Advisor/Expert

We are seeking a Senior E-commerce Advisor/Expert to support a new e-commerce venture for a retail client. This role involves contributing to e-commerce strategy development, value proposition formulation, commercial modelling, and providing expert advisory services. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely with potential business travel to Czechia and Portugal on a 5-6 month project for a global company, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support the implementation of e-commerce strategies aligned with business objectives.

• Design and refine value propositions tailored to the retail e-commerce market.

• Create and analyze commercial models to support decision-making processes.

• Provide expert advisory on e-commerce technologies and ecosystem dynamics.

• Manage project activities including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.

• Prepare and deliver clear, professional presentations to board members and other senior stakeholders.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of e-commerce technologies and the broader ecosystem (8+ years of experience).

• Demonstrated experience in commercial modelling and strategic planning within e-commerce contexts.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior audiences.

• Proven project management capabilities, including coordination and delivery of complex initiatives.

• Advanced analytical skills enabling data-driven decision-making.

• Fluency in English at C1 level or higher.

• Flexibility to work remotely with availability for business travel to Czechia and Portugal as required.
