React Native Engineer

We are looking for a React Native Engineer (Mid level).

• The job is fully remote.
• International project: fluent English.
• Start date: ASAP.

Duties

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native
• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality
• Transition existing React web apps to React Native

Requirements

• High level of expertise in React Native
• A collaborative mindset and openness to pair programming and/or mob programming to share knowledge and drive team growth
• A solid understanding of the dynamics involved in migrating a native project to React Native
• Awareness of challenges React Web developers face when transitioning to React Native and how to address them
• Experience in medium to large-scale projects with multiple teams working on a singular codebase
• A native mobile development background is highly beneficial
