What you’ll do as a Ruby Developer at YND
As a Ruby Developer, you will be responsible for the technical architecture and development of backend services at YND. You will be joining a team of frontend and backend engineers, QA designers and product owners who believe in making great products and have all the technical skills to make it happen. If you're the kind of person who wants to challenge the status quo rather than accept it, you'll do great here. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Build cutting edge, scalable backend systems
- Prototype and test different solutions
- Handle integration to external systems via API
- Design system flows and processing logic
- Ensure your solutions can be smoothly deployed ad verified through staging & production environments
Do you have what it takes?
Must-haves
- 4+ years experience working with Ruby
- REST API design experience
- You have worked with Docker in the past
- You can showcase hands-on experience in the development of fintech solutions
- You work well in a team
- You are a self-starter, and ability to follow through, from the initial concept to getting the app deployed
- Excellent communication skills
- Well organised, strong attention to details
Nice to have
- Databases knowledge
- Deployed and maintained production backend system in the past
- Creative and always looking for new ways to solve complex issues
- Second backend technology knowledge
- System Architecture experience
