Senior Full Stack Engineer (Backend Oriented)
We're seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for our accounting and bookkeeping management platform serving accounting firms and their clients. This role is primarily backend oriented, focusing on API development and data processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable solutions across the stack, with emphasis on backend systems
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices in Node.js 20
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, particularly in legacy backend code
Technical Requirements:
- Strong Node.js experience for API development and data processing (primary focus)
- Background in structured programming (.NET or Java experience preferred)
- Willingness to work with Angular (currently upgrading to Angular 19)
- Pragmatic approach to programming with continuous improvement mindset
- Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to navigate and improve legacy code architecture
