What you will get to do:

1. Optimise and automate testing activities.
2. Test Case development - analyse requirements, define criteria, create tests, and develop automated scripts.
3. Defect Management – report, track, and collaborate with other developers for resolution.
4. Identify and automate repetitive operational tasks throughout the software lifecycle.
5. Continuous Improvement – suggest and implement best practices and own ideas.
6. Adhere to core design and testing principles as established by the team and organizational leadership.
7. Develop tools and systems to reduce operational costs.
8. Identify bottlenecks in testing and propose effective solutions.
9. Maintain and develop test infrastructure (hardware and software) in the team.
10. Working with embedded devices (TVs and STBs)

Who we are looking for:

Must have:

1. Minimum 4 years of experience in Test Automation and/or Python programming.
2. Intermediate coding skills in interpreted languages: Python.
3. Experience with Linux operating systems, especially in embedded environments.

Nice to have:

1. Knowledge of JavaScript / HTML.
2. Continuous Integration/Continuous delivery platforms (Jenkins & Groovy).
3. Virtualization (Docker).
4. Familiarity with broadcasting and digital television standards.
5. ISTQB certification or equivalent.
6. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of software testing and quality assurance principles.
