What you will get to do:
- Oversee the quality of work within the team.
- Plan and monitor testing activities.
- Optimise and automate testing activities.
- Identify and automate repetitive operational tasks throughout the software lifecycle.
- Adhere to core design and testing principles as established by team and organizational leadership.
- Develop tools and systems to reduce operational costs.
- Identify bottlenecks in testing and propose effective solutions.
- Maintain and develop test infrastructure.
- Occasionally perform manual testing of the software when necessary.
- Working with embedded devices (TVs and STBs)
Who we are looking for:
Must have:
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of software testing and quality assurance principles.
- Experience with Linux operating systems, especially in embedded environments.
- Intermediate coding skills in scripting languages: such as Python and Bash.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of JavaScript / HTML.
- Continuous Integration platforms (Jenkins).
- Virtualization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with broadcasting and digital television standards.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent.
