About the role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SDET to take part in the development and optimization of our test infrastructure and automation frameworks. This role plays a key part in ensuring our automated testing systems are scalable, reliable and efficient. You will collaborate closely with DevOps, QA, and development teams to build robust solutions that support continuous testing and help deliver high-quality software that brings our customers best-in-industry video experience.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and infrastructure tools.

• Support cross-functional teams in defining test strategies and ensuring coverage across system layers.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub pipelines.

• Build and manage test environments, including containerized setups using Docker.

• Develop utilities and services to support test data management, mocking, and service virtualization.

• Drive adoption of best practices in test automation, infrastructure reliability, and observability.

• Monitor and optimize test execution performance and resource usage.

• Contribute to the overall quality engineering strategy.

Required Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation, with a focus on test infrastructure.

• Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript.

• Solid understanding of software architecture.

• Deep understanding of CI/CD systems, version control (Git), and build tools.

• Experience with test automation tools such as Pytest, Playwright, Puppeteer, or similar.

• Hands-on experience with Docker.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in hardware testing and configuration

• Knowledge of Digital TV standards: DVB / IPTV
