About the role:

TiVo OS, smart TV giving a best-in-industry customized video experience, giving customers access to multiple video sources including their favourite streaming services and on demand content in one unified portal. 

 

What you will get to do:

  • Test Automation – lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks and scripts

  • Test Case Development – analyse requirement, define criteria, create test, develop automated script

  • Test Execution – execute and oversee automated test suites, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and identifying areas for improvement

  • Defect Management – identify, report, track and collaborate with development for resolution

  • Mentoring - mentor junior team members, providing guidance on test automation techniques, programming languages, and tools

  • Documentation and Technical Knowledge – build team’s awareness, competencies and skills

  • Continuous Improvement – drive the adoption of best practices in test automation, including code reviews, test design, and performance optimization.

  • Collaboration – work closely with software engineers, QA teams, and stakeholders to define testing strategies and requirements

 

Who we are looking for:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Software Testing and 4 years in Test Automation

  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and practises in software development

  • Very good spoken and written English (B2)

  • Knowledge of Testing Tools: Jenkins, Selenium

  • Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript (Advance level)

  • Experience with CI testing systems (Jenkins, Github Action)

  • Knowledge of the most common test results analysis tools (Allure, XRay)

  • Willingness and solid attitude to take initiative and responsibility

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience in hardware testing and configuration

Nice to have:

  • ISTQB - Foundation Level

  • Knowledge of: JIRA / Confluence / Xray

  • Knowledge of Digital TV standards: DVB / IPTV
