Lead Mobile Developer (Kotlin Multiplatform)

Our Client is expanding their internal product team to further develop a sophisticated, driver-facing mobile ecosystem focused on navigation and location-based intelligence.

The Role:

As the Lead Developer, you will play a key role in shaping the architecture of next-gen mobile applications for both Android and iOS. You will be responsible for the implementation of Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) solutions that enable driver-centric experiences through optimized routing, location intelligence, and high-performance scalability.

What You Will Do:

• Architectural Leadership: Own and shape the mobile Kotlin Multiplatform architecture across the project.

• Technical Decision Making: Lead technical choices for both Android and iOS platforms.

• Complex Feature Delivery: Develop sophisticated functionality such as GPS tracking, streaming/offline maps, and social features.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work directly with the Client's product management and backend engineers to move fast without sacrificing quality.

• Engineering Excellence: Establish best practices, conduct code reviews, and implement test automation strategies to maintain system reliability.

• Team Growth: Coach and develop junior developers, helping them grow their technical skills and contribute effectively to the project.

What We’re Looking For:

• Mobile Expertise: 5+ years of professional mobile development experience.

• KMP Specialist: Strong Kotlin expertise with hands-on experience using Kotlin Multiplatform in production.

• Technical Depth: Deep understanding of Android development and comfortable collaborating closely with iOS engineers (Swift).

• Architecture: Solid skills in building scalable, performant, and memory-efficient mobile applications.

• Platform Fundamentals: Strong grasp of mobile lifecycles, background execution, and sensor integration.

• Communication: C1 level proficiency in both English and Polish 

• Mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills and a pragmatic, product-oriented approach.

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience with automotive, navigation, mapping, or social applications.

💲 Long-term B2B contract: 23 000 - 30 000 PLN net + VAT / month 

📍 Remote work  model but we also  welcome you to work from our office in Gdańsk.(Oliva Center)
