AI Architect

About the Role

We are looking for a new team member to join us as an AI Architect and support our client, an international enterprise software provider specializing in business process optimization and automation. In this role, you will help define, guide, and evolve the use of Artificial Intelligence across Novacura’s flagship Flow Connect Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform.

This role bridges advanced AI capabilities, platform architecture, and product strategy. You will ensure that AI solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term business and technology goals. As an AI Architect, you will provide architectural leadership across teams, shaping how AI is embedded into core platform services, customer-facing features, and internal developer tooling.

What You’ll Do

• Shape AI Strategy: Define, guide, and evolve the use of AI across the Flow Connect SaaS platform, turning AI opportunities into production-grade, value-generating capabilities.

• Provide Architectural Leadership: Take responsibility for high-level architectural decisions that span multiple teams, core platform services, and customer-facing features.

• Bridge Technology & Product: Combine hands-on architectural design with strategic influence, helping R&D teams turn cutting-edge technology into aligned product strategies.

• Evaluate & Assess: Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and tooling, translating them into scalable, maintainable platform capabilities.

• Communicate & Align: Reason through complex technical problems at a system level and clearly communicate architectural choices, risks, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• Architectural Experience: Extensive experience in software engineering and architecture, with a clear progression into architecting, delivering, and evolving AI-enabled systems in real-world production environments.

• AI Expertise: Recent hands-on experience across core AI domains, including traditional machine learning as well as modern approaches (LLMs, agentic, or multi-component AI architectures), with a deep understanding of production trade-offs.

• Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Languages: Fluency in both English and Polish (written and spoken) is required for smooth everyday collaboration across local and international teams.

• Mindset: A pragmatic approach to adopting new technologies where they deliver clear value, combined with a strong interest in continuously expanding AI expertise and shaping technical excellence.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in R&D or technology-focused environments, contributing to the design and evolution of cloud-native, scalable software.

• Hands-on experience deploying and managing AI solutions using the Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem (Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, and Azure AI Foundry).

• Background in product development and close collaboration with Product Managers.

💲 Long-term B2B contract: 27 000 - 33 000 PLN net + VAT / month 

📍 Remote work  model but we also  welcome you to work from our office in Gdańsk
