Job description

X-Margin is seeking top tier, ambitious and eager talent. We use cutting edge confidential computing to disintermediate credit through privacy. Our credit scores leverage historical timeseries data, relational data and real-time data.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage well-functioning database architecture
Integrate Timescale with real-time event driven credit score system
Develop efficient queries for analytics delivered to quant team
Integrate with backend/frontend systems over REST and websocket APIs
Create security and data protection
Write technical documentation.

Requirements

Proven track record with timeseries databases (Timescale) and PostgreSQL. Experience with kdb+ is a pro but not essential.
Experience with Redis
Experience with event-driven programming and IPC patterns: message queues, publish/subscribe
Familiar with devops tools and practices (e.g. kubernetes, terraform) and cloud native solutions
Fluent in Python, knowledge of system programming languages (C+, Rust) is a pro
Knowledge of cryptocurrency trading products and market data is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Competent with Linux
