Technical Product Owner & Solution Architect

This hybrid role combines the strategic responsibilities of a Product Owner, the organizational and delivery focus of a Project Manager, and the technical expertise of a Solution Architect. The role requires strong hands-on technical skills in networking, cloud services, and data processing, as well as the ability to debug issues and guide teams in implementing scalable solutions. 

Your role is to:

-> Act as the bridge between business needs and technical implementation by translating requirements into clear user stories, solution roadmaps, and project deliverables;

-> Plan, coordinate, and deliver IT and digital transformation projects on time, within scope, and within budget, applying agile or waterfall methods as appropriate;

-> Design and validate solution architectures across applications, networks, data flows, and cloud platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and performance;  

-> Manage the product backlog and prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility; 

-> Debug and troubleshoot issues across cloud services, networks, and data pipelines, guiding teams to implement fixes and improvements;  

-> Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution and integration of systems;

-> Monitor and measure project progress using appropriate tools, techniques, and KPIs; report status and escalate issues when necessary; 

-> Continuously research emerging technologies and propose improvements that enhance system reliability, data processing, and business outcomes;

-> Maintain comprehensive documentation, perform risk management, and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.  

Your skills and experiences:

-> Degree in Computer Science or related field required; 

-> 3+ years of experience in a hybrid role covering product ownership, solution architecture, and IT project management;

-> Proven track record of delivering IT or digital transformation projects end-to-end; 

-> Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), networking fundamentals, and infrastructure integration;

-> Solid understanding of operating systems, databases, and modern data processing tools;

-> Familiarity with cloud monitoring, troubleshooting, and debugging practices;  

-> Strong knowledge of IT project methodologies (Agile and Waterfall);

-> Ability to design and validate scalable technical architectures;

-> Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a plus); 

-> Scrum Product Owner, or equivalent certification is a plus.
