Location: Warsaw (hybrid work: 2-3 days in the office)

Rate: 150 PLN per hour

Cooperation model: B2B or Employment Contract

Recruitment process: 1 timed Abstract and Logical Reasoning Test (up to 15 minutes); 1 short interview (up to 30 minutes)

Your role is:

-> To work within a key problem space, addressing the client's immediate needs by designing, developing, and deploying backend services that prioritize scalability, high availability, and low latency;

-> To collaborate and grow in a dynamic and autonomous environment while working in small, agile and cross functional teams;

-> To use the latest technologies to solve real problems for customers at a massive scale;

-> To be part of a team that will take full operational responsibility for the services that you own, and potentially take part in an on-call rotation;

-> To share your knowledge and build creative solutions while helping the team evolve best practices.

Your skills and experiences:

-> At least 4 years of experience with Java (version 17 and up);

-> Framework knowledge: Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Hibernate or JPA;

-> Tools: Docker and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab);

-> Databases: Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in relational databases;

-> Testing: Proficiency in unit testing (JUnit, Mockito) and integration testing tools;

-> Cloud & DevOps: AWS cloud infrastructure and microservices architecture;

-> System Design: Solid experience with microservices architecture, scalability, and system integration;

-> Strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;

-> Language proficiency: Advanced English (minimum B2 level).

Nice to have:

+ Other Java frameworks and Spring Security;

+ Kubernetes and CI/CD best practices;

+ NoSQL databases, PostgreSQL, and database performance tuning;

+ Performance testing and automation frameworks experience;

+ DevOps tools (Terraform, CDK) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Datadog);

+ Understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ);

+ Awareness of security best practices, API design (RESTful, GraphQL), and container orchestration tools.
