GRC System Specialist / Security Expert

Location: Remotely from Poland, business trips up to 10% of working time

Rate: 45 - 55 USD per hour + VAT

Working time: 15:00- 23:00 (Polish time)

Recruitment process: 2-3 interviews (screening and two technical interviews about 30 min)

Our Client is a US-based cybersecurity company headquartered in New York City whose mission is to support its clients in mitigating cyber threats. They are focused on three main areas: Cyber Breach Response, Cloud Security Services, and Proactive Cyber Services. Their military-grade professionals have decades of experience in cyber operations and apply their knowledge of the attacker perspective to facilitate efficient, effective, and scalable responses to cyber breaches. Their growing team combines operational and technological disciplines with instinctual methods to keep their client’s information safe.

Your role is to:

-> Run a comprehensive cyber assurance strategy in alignment with business objectives;

-> Maintain a framework for ongoing cybersecurity risk assessments and assurance activities suitable for PCI, ISO27001 and SOC2;

-> Lead the execution of cyber assurance testing programs, including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits;

-> Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure the integration of cyber assurance activities;

-> Report on the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations;

-> Maintain relationships with external auditors;

-> Implement cyber assurance policies and procedures;

-> Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.

Your skills and experiences:

-> 3+ years of cybersecurity experience, focusing on cyber assurance;

-> Relevant certifications or experience as an auditor;

-> Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices;

-> Experience with cyber assurance testing methodologies, tools, and techniques;

-> Good communication and interpersonal skills;

-> Strong English skills (C1).
