The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Senior IAM Specialist to join our Cyber Security team within GBS Tech. In this role, you will ensure secure and efficient management of user identities and access rights across our digital ecosystem. You’ll focus on implementing processes, policies, and technologies that protect sensitive information, prevent unauthorized access, and support regulatory compliance.

Who You’ll Work With:

You’ll be part of a 3-piece international team of experienced professionals, reporting directly to the Director of Cyber Security. Our IAM team is deeply technical, collaborative, and committed to innovation and continuous improvement. We are part of the wider GBS Tech Cyber Security group, working closely with other IT and business teams on impactful digital transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain identity and access management solutions using Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
• Serve as a subject matter expert in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define access policies and improve security and efficiency across IAM systems
• Manage and administer Microsoft Entra ID tenants, implementing features that increase the organization’s security score
• Set up and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) and application provisioning
• Troubleshoot issues related to authentication, authorization, and directory services, working closely with IT teams and stakeholders to minimize business impact
• Define and maintain joiner-mover-leaver processes in alignment with company policies and business needs
• Ensure high-quality data throughout IAM processes, working closely with the HR team
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in IAM and recommend continuous improvements
• Support tenant-to-tenant migration projects involving users, mailboxes, applications, and data

What you need to succeed in the role:

• A degree in IT or a related field, or 3+ years of relevant professional experience
• Strong experience with Microsoft IAM tools: Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Adaxes, Entra ID, Cloud Sync, and SSO
• Solid understanding of identity federation protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) in hybrid cloud environments
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Microsoft Graph for IAM automation tasks.
• In-depth knowledge of security concepts, access control, and authentication methods
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience collaborating across diverse teams
• Experience supporting global IT services in an international company.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written, with the ability to explain complex IT topics clearly
• Service-minded attitude with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Entra Identity Governance (Premium 2).
• Familiarity with tenant-to-tenant migration tools (e.g., Quest On Demand).
• Knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud (helpful for migration-related work).
