While rock climbing in Southeast Asia, Caelen King needed a little medical procedure, but quickly realized that he didn't know where to go, how much he could expect to pay, or how to check that the clinic was trusted. At this point, being a tourist, it did not seem strange to him, but when he returned to Ireland the situation repeated and Caelen decided to start a business.
Today, WhatClinic.com helps patients find, compare and book clinics that are right for them in over 140 countries. The platform has detailed lists of over 120,000 clinics. We believe that every patient should be able to find on the Internet all the information needed to make a good choice of a clinic. WhatClinic.com was founded in 2006 and is used by over 1.5 million patients each month.
Our platform is constantly expanding, and to make it possible, we need Junior Full Stack Developer to join us. We are seeking a developer willing to grow with us, with 1-2 years of experience working in a commercial environment.
Knowledge and skills necessary for this role:
At least one year of experience in creating web applications as a Fullstack Developer,
Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET (.Net Framework) technology,
Front-end knowledge: HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript,
Fluent communication in English, our team consists of several nationalities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
Willingness to work in the scrum system.
A big plus will be if:
You can find yourself in SQL Server (or similar, e.g. MySQL, Oracle, etc.),
You're familiar with working on REST-based JSON APIs.
Your daily tasks will be:
Maintaining and improving existing services, including our flagship WhatClinic product, as well as internal CRM,
Assistance in creating functionalities for our new services,
Participation in code review,
Writing the code in accordance with the provided specification,
Taking care of the code quality,
Working in Scrum, including daily stand-ups, planning, demo and retro.

The recruitment process for What Clinic is fully remote and includes:
1. A 30 min. phone call with Bee Talents recruiter who will guide you through the entire process.
2. Meeting at Google Meet with two company representatives. You will learn more about the company's specifics and development opportunities, and we will have the opportunity to get to know you better.
3. Technical task that will be sent to you by e-mail.
