About the position

The Senior Scrum Master will lead Agile adoption and SAFe practices across software delivery teams. The role focuses on facilitating sprint ceremonies, removing blockers, enabling high-performing teams, and ensuring smooth delivery of projects. The Senior Scrum Master also manages Jira boards, reporting, and provides guidance on Agile best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Support teams in removing blockers and impediments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.

• Promote SAFe and Agile principles, coaching teams, product owners, and stakeholders as needed.

• Maintain and manage Jira boards, ensuring accurate tracking of tasks, dependencies, and progress.

• Provide reporting on sprint progress, team performance, and key metrics to leadership.

• Foster collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement within and across teams.

• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to optimize Agile delivery.

Competencies

• 3-6 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile/SAFe environments.

• Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and SAFe practices.

• Proven experience facilitating sprint ceremonies and resolving team impediments.

• Proficiency with Jira or similar Agile project management tools.

• Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills.

• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.

• Ability to work across multiple teams and support cross-functional collaboration.

• Fluency in English.
