About the position

We are looking for a Data Engineer intern, to work on a customer project alongside our team. You will work in an international team, and help them navigate the different steps of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Help to leverage a global data platform and enrich it with additional data capabilities

• Help to design and implement the solutions for complete use case data pipelines: from data ingestion and storage, through data processing & implementation of business rules to data consumption (e.g. reporting)

• Help to define and apply best practices for development and maintenance of the platform

• Help to keep up with trends and evolving technology in the big data and analytics world

• Look for opportunities to improve performance, reliability and automation

Requirements:

• Being enrolled in a Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or a related technical field

• Good english communication skills (B2+), Polish language is a plus.

• Experience in Data Engineering is a plus

• Help to Improve and refine data ingestion and transformation pipelines (ETL/ELT).

• Understanding of Python with focus on PySpark

• Understanding of SQL and relational databases

• Experience with Databrick, Azure Data Services is a plus

• Continuous integration, deployment, and delivery practitioner (GitHub knowledge)

• General understanding of Infrastructure, Orchestration and IT Security Principles (especially on an enterprise level)
