About the opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure IT - Security Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and prioritizing vulnerabilities in client-side assets for both mobile and web applications. You will work with technologies such as JAVA, AJAX, and ActiveX to prevent backdoors and other attack vectors that could compromise applications. Your work will directly contribute to the security posture of our clients by designing effective testing strategies and providing actionable solutions.


Key responsibilities

As a Senior Infrastructure IT - Security Engineer, you will assess client-side assets for potential security vulnerabilities, focusing on web and mobile applications. You will identify attack vectors, analyze application technologies, and prioritize risks based on potential impact. You will collaborate with development and security teams to design and implement testing strategies, including mitigation plans for command injection risks and other common exploits. Additionally, you will document findings, provide recommendations, and contribute to improving the organization’s vulnerability management and application security practices.


Competencies

  • Strong vulnerability assessment skills, with the ability to identify, assess, and prioritize risks

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to design effective testing strategies

  • Knowledge of web and mobile application security, including technologies such as JAVA, AJAX, and ActiveX

  • Experience identifying potential backdoors, injection points, and other attack vectors

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and drive solutions in a complex environment

  • Fluency in English (C1 preferred)

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in functional analysis, application security, or vulnerability assessment
