About the position

The DevOps / MLOps Engineer will work with the engineering team and focus on cloud infrastructure and automation, primarily on Azure, with exposure to other cloud platforms when required.

A key part of the role is championing and leading Infrastructure as Code, acting as a consultant, and proactively solving problems for clients beyond just “closing tickets”.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a Cloud Platform Expert, focusing on core infrastructure areas such as compute, storage, networking, and managed services (authentication, DNS, backup, monitoring, logging, etc.).

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available Azure cloud infrastructure defined as code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

• Collaborate with software engineering teams to define infrastructure and deployment requirements, ensuring seamless integration and reliability.

• Develop, automate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows, including tools such as Argo CD, to improve performance, availability, and cost efficiency.

• Maintain the stability and security of Kubernetes platform by performing updates and resolving issues with clusters and workloads.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across diverse cloud services and environments while maintaining operational excellence.

• Engage directly with clients through meetings and calls to provide expert guidance and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.

• Stay current with Azure cloud best practices and certifications.

Competencies

• MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure.

• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting infrastructure, system, and security configurations and policies.

• Experience working with demanding customers to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan.

• Experience with Docker, GitHub, Kubernetes and deploying applications on cloud platforms.

• Experience with Argo CD or other GitOps tools is highly desirable.

• Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure with Terraform.

• Solid foundation in networking and Linux administration.

• Ability to learn and use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.

• Strong technical design, development, analysis, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines supporting ML or MLOps workflows is a plus.

• Experience with monitoring container environments is a plus.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Team player with great attention to detail.

• Fluency in English is a must.
