Senior React Developer

Medihive builds state of the art, award winning telemedicine solutions. We create Virtual Clinics for medics, clinics, hospitals, insurers and health systems allowing them to Engage, Triage and Treat patients online. Our software helps the medical community safely treat patients and save lives today. We want to optimise clinical communication, using technology to allow clinicians to operate at the top of their license, increase their efficiency and improve patient outcomes.

We are looking for a Senior React Developer based in the EU to join our fast growing company. We pay market rates and can discuss as soon as you apply.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Expertise

• Proven experience as a Senior React Developer, demonstrated through a strong portfolio of projects.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience with modern CSS-in-JS libraries (e.g., Styled Components, Emotion) and utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS would be a plus.
• Strong understanding of component-based architecture and state management (e.g., Redux).
• Ensuring the UI works seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes.
• Experience with build tools such as Vite, Rollup.

Front-End Development & UI Design

• Exceptional knowledge of CSS, including advanced concepts, best practices, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Extensive experience with CSS animations, transitions, and keyframe animations to build highly interactive user interfaces.
• Solid understanding of user experience (UX) principles and a track record of collaborating with UI/UX designers to translate designs into engaging and user-friendly interfaces.

Real-Time & Embedded Technologies

• Deep understanding of WebRTC fundamentals: This includes concepts like peer connections, ICE (Interactive Connectivity Establishment), STUN/TURN servers, signalling, media streams (audio/video), and data channels.
• Experience in creating embedded widget components, including knowledge of integration challenges and best practices across diverse web environments.

Problem Solving & Collaboration

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

- Have excellent spoken and written English. 

- Be able to work Monday to Friday within our core office hours of 10:00 to 16:00 Irish Summer Time / GMT.
