Junior AI Engineer

We are building a new AI capability within the WealthArc fintech platform.Our mission is to create AI-native products and intelligent workflows for the wealth management industry, combining large language models, financial data, and autonomous agents to solve complex real-world problems. 
In this role, you will work on customer-facing AI solutions such as: 

• AI agents supporting financial and investment workflows 

• intelligent document processing and financial document analysis 

• data intelligence systems operating on large structured and unstructured datasets 

• LLM-powered assistants for portfolio management and wealth advisory use cases 

• AI workflows integrating portfolio, market, and custodian data 

At the same time, you will help shape internal AI capabilities that improve the entire product development lifecycle - from engineering productivity and code generation to automated testing, documentation, data operations, and developer workflows. 
You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to design and build scalable AI systems that can operate reliably in a regulated financial environment.

Responsibilities: 

• Design and build AI-powered products for the wealth management industry, combining LLMs, financial data, and autonomous workflows.  

• Develop and integrate intelligent AI agents that support financial analysis, decision-making, and operational automation. 

• Create AI modules capable of interacting with structured financial datasets, investment data, and portfolio management systems. 

• Build solutions for document understanding, data extraction, and automated analysis across financial and operational workflows. 

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing, transforming, and enriching structured financial data using Python and SQL.  

• Experiment with modern AI frameworks, LLM orchestration patterns, and agent architectures to bring new capabilities into production.  

• Deploy, monitor, and improve production-grade AI services in cloud environments with a focus on reliability and scalability.  

• Contribute to AI infrastructure for model experimentation, evaluation, prompt engineering, and workflow automation.  

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and domain experts to turn business problems into practical AI solutions.  

• Support internal AI initiatives that improve software development workflows, including engineering productivity, automation, testing, and developer tooling.  

• Continuously explore emerging AI technologies and help shape how AI capabilities evolve across the WealthArc platform and organization. 

 
Requirements: 

• Basic hands-on experience with AI-powered applications, LLM frameworks, or AI automation tools gained through commercial work, internships, academic projects, or personal projects.  

• Good foundation in Python programming and interest in building backend or data-driven applications. 

• Familiarity with modern AI tools and ecosystems (e.g. OpenAI APIs, LangChain, vector databases, orchestration frameworks).  

• Basic understanding of structured data processing using SQL and Python.  

• Interest in APIs, automation workflows, and AI-powered systems development  

• Basic understanding of cloud environments and modern software engineering principles.  

• Curiosity about working with complex datasets and applying AI to real-world business problems.  

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.  

• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate across Product and Engineering teams.  

• Self-driven and eager to learn, with openness to feedback and continuous improvement.  

• Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and knowledge sharing.  

• Passion for AI technologies, emerging tools, and practical experimentation.  

• Professional knowledge of English (spoken and written). 

Nice to have: 

• Understanding of economics, financial markets, investment principles, or related domain.

• Exposure to fintech products, financial data, or investment-related systems. 

• Basic knowledge of prompt engineering, AI agents, or LLM-based workflows.  

• Familiarity with Azure cloud services or modern cloud platforms.  

• Experience with Git, APIs, or simple production deployments.
