About the role

We're seeking a product-focused Mid and Senior Level Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team at WAYF. As a crucial member of our development process, you'll be more than just a tester - you'll be a product knowledge expert and guardian of quality who proactively contributes to the entire development lifecycle, collaborating closely with our development and design teams.

What You'll Do:

• Be the product encyclopedia - develop deep understanding of product functionality, business rules and system architecture
• Proactively participate in planning discussions, identifying potential issues before they arise
• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for web and mobile applications
• Create and maintain testing scenarios using modern testing frameworks
• Collaborate directly with developers and designers throughout the entire development process
• Provide valuable QA perspective in all product discussions, not just testing phases
• Document and track bugs effectively using our project management tools
• Help establish and improve QA processes and best practices
• Serve as a knowledge resource for the team on product functionality and system behavior
• Create and maintain automated tests using AI workflows

Technical Requirements:

✔️ Solid understanding of the digital product landscape and basic product management practices - you’ll be a crucial point of information for our team and stakeholders

✔️ Strong experience with manual testing methodologies and best practices

✔️ Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, or similar)

✔️ Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics)

✔️ Experience with version control systems (Git)

✔️ Knowledge of agile methodologies and SDLC

✔️ Experience with test management and bug tracking tools

✔️ Ability to understand and communicate complex product features and technical implementations

Nice-to-have:

💫 Proficiency in writing and maintaining automated tests

💫 Experience participating in product planning sessions

💫 Previous role where you served as a product knowledge resource

Soft Requirements:

🗣️ English B2+

Salary Range:

10 000PLN - 16 000PLN net (B2B) per month or 2350EUR - 3800EUR net (B2B) per month
