Software Engineer – Integration Specialist (Temporary)

As part of Volue’s Technology Strategy, we are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Integrations Project team. You will play a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining integration processes that support business-critical workflows.

We are currently using an in-house integration platform. The internal integration platform is end of life and we are moving the workloads to a commercial integration platform, Frends. Some of these workloads will also include development of business logic, in C#, outside Frends. 

The contract will last for 12 months with a possibility for an extension after that period. 

What you will be doing to make a difference:

• Develop and implement Frends processes based on functional and technical requirements.

• Test and validate integration processes in the test environment, collaborating with a dedicated test colleague. This by monitoring process during the testing phase to ensure stability and reliability.

• Work closely with an experienced Integration Specialist to accelerate onboarding and knowledge sharing.

• Transition tested processes and their ownership to the Production Environment in collaboration with Service Operations Department using Grafana as a monitoring tool.

• Possibly take part in C# development of the business logic

What you need to succeed:

• Self-drive and used to work independently

• Proven experience (4+ years) as a Software Engineer with excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills

• Knowledge of integration platforms (Frends experience is a plus)

• Familiarity with DevOps principles and cloud environments

• Proficiency in C#, .NET

• VB. NET experience is a plus

• Fluency in spoken and written English

• Ability to work in a multi-national team
