Frontend Engineer with React

As a Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in building intuitive, responsive, and high-performance web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.

What you will be doing to make a difference:

• Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, back-end developers and product managers to implement new features and improve existing ones.

• Optimise applications for speed and scalability.

• Design code that is easily understandable by other humans

• Be open to pair programming and pair design

• Clean, maintain and document code

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

• Shape best practices and drive impactful engineering change.

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Software Development or similar competence level.

• 4+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on React and its ecosystem.

• Proficiency in web technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Experience at building and supporting feature-rich web clients, as well as knowing about server-side rendered apps.

• Experience with state management libraries (e.g. XState or similar).

• Experience at working with HTTP-based APIs.

• Experience with event-based systems.

• Familiarity with modern front-end development tooling, including and not limited to vertical slice architecture and testing with e.g. storybook.

• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

• Optional but advantageous: familiarity with .NET platform, C# language, database concepts, experience with backend development and cloud environments.

• Special interests in design-systems, high level of design/UX taste, knowledge of a11y patterns is an advantage.

• Technical English proficiency, written and spoken.

• Ability to collaborate across teams, locations, and cultures.
