Data Analyst with Python
Location: Krakow or Warsaw (Poland)
Form of employment and remuneration - we accept all offers, and we are flexible here. 
Start date - As soon as possible!  

VOLT is a fast-paced high growth start-up with teams spread over 2 hubs in Kraków and Warsaw. The job is a hybrid remote/ on-site working arrangement. Presence in the office once a week is strongly recommended.

OUR EXPECTATIONS
We are looking for ambitious people who would help us understand our data better. Right now we have an opening for a Data Analyst in the Engineering department. Your weapons of choice will be SQL, dashboards, Python and a thorough understanding of our business. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Understand our business and its processes through our data
• Apply this understanding and knowledge of our data to help product teams
• Design key metrics to measure different aspects of the business
• Create and maintain new aggregated views and tables to simplify data querying
• Maintain and create new dashboards to track metrics and visualise insights and keep everything nice and neat
• Promote data literacy across the company, document data and help others understand data better

WHAT WILL YOU NEED:
Experience 
Required
  • 2+ years of experience on a data/product analyst position
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Basic Python knowledge
  • Proven working experience in Python
Preferred
  • Experience with data driven product optimization
  • Experience in using Grafana or other visualisation tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Metabase etc.)
 
Skills and systems
Required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong collaborative skills
  • Fluent English (in speaking and writing)
  • Excellent data presentation and visualisation skills
  • Google Sheets/Excel proficiency
