About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer who has a curious mind and is ready to delve deeper into the world of Salesforce development and its best practices.

In this role, you will work on implementing customizations and enhancements in our Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud environments. You will develop Apex code and Lightning components under the guidance of senior developers and our Tech Lead, integrate Salesforce with other systems, and learn to uphold Salesforce development best practices in all your work. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills while delivering valuable features to the business.

To achieve this, we expect you to already have some experience as a Salesforce Developer.

Your responsibilities include:

/ Develop and modify Apex classes, triggers, and Salesforce automation (Flows/Process Builder) to meet business requirements. Build user interface components using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and support maintenance of existing Aura components as needed. Ensure all development is done with attention to scalability and follows best practice patterns (bulkified code, proper error handling, etc.).

/ Work closely with our Salesforce Tech Lead / Architect to understand declarative vs. programmatic solutions and implement the appropriate mix

/ Write unit tests for all Apex logic you develop, targeting >75% code coverage. Perform thorough testing of your work in sandbox environments and assist with UAT. Document the technical details of your solutions (in code comments and external documentation) to provide other team members with necessary information to understand and maintain the code. Follow team processes for using source control and documenting changes (e.g., updates in Confluence or JIRA)

/ Assist in integrating Salesforce with external systems. Develop or maintain Apex callouts to REST/SOAP web services and work with integration tools (e.g., supporting MuleSoft integration processes) under the supervision of senior team members. Help ensure data flowing into Salesforce from Marketing Cloud or other systems is correctly processed and synchronized

/ Stay updated on the Salesforce platform enhancements and best practices. Continuously learn and improve your development skills by leveraging the experience of senior team members and taking advantage of Salesforce training resources. Proactively identify opportunities to optimize existing code or configurations

/ Collaborate with senior developers and project leads to design solutions that meet business needs. Participate in code reviews, actively seek feedback, and implement improvements based on review comments. Work in an agile team environment, attend scrum meetings, and update task status in project tracking tools

Our requirements:

/ Min. 1 year of hands-on Salesforce development experience. Strong skills in Apex programming (writing triggers, asynchronous Apex, etc.) and Lightning Web Components (LWC), as well as a solid understanding of the Salesforce object model and query languages (SOQL/SOSL).

/ Proven track record of participation in a successful end-to-end Salesforce development project(s)

/ Experience working with Sales Cloud and at least general exposure to Experience Cloud (Community Cloud) development and configuration. Able to understand how different clouds interact (e.g., syncing data between Sales and Marketing Cloud) and develop solutions accordingly

/ Familiarity with Salesforce development best practices, including governor limits, bulk operations, and security/sharing rules. Willingness to follow coding standards and write test classes for your code. An eye for identifying potential issues or inefficient approaches and asking for guidance when needed

/ Salesforce Platform Developer I certificate is required. Working towards Platform Developer II or other certifications is a plus and encouraged

/ Advanced knowledge of English (min. B2)

/ Proficiency with SFDX and version control (Git) – GitHub or Bitbucket

/ Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins for automated deployments and SonarQube/CodeScan for code quality analysis. Familiarity with packaging and deployment strategies (change sets, unlocked packages, etc.)

/ Basic understanding of integration frameworks and tools, including MuleSoft or equivalent experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and middleware

/ Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team. Comfortable asking questions and sharing progress or blockers. Detail-oriented and capable of translating functional requirements into technical tasks with guidance.

NICE TO HAVE:

/ Knowledge of other Salesforce clouds e.g., Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud,  Data Cloud or Automotive Cloud will be an asset

/ Additional certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Platform App Builder will be an added advantage

/ Experience in working with cloud solutions (AWS)

/ Experience in Tableau and / or MuleSoft development
