The Vodeno Cloud Platform (VCP) provides a fast track, all from one source solution for newcomers wishing to enter the financial services market, financial institutions looking to migrate from legacy technology and processes or fintech and e-commerce firms wishing to broaden their portfolio of products.
About The Role
As an IT Data Lake Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and documenting data flows and new features of Data Lake. You should have hands-on experience with Corporate Data Warehouses and/or Data Lakes.
Part of your responsibilities will also be data analysis and data science tasks.
About You
You bring strong experience and demonstrable knowledge in the following areas:
- understanding of Data Warehouses and/or Data Lake principles, architectures and toolsets
- building data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources
- building data processing pipelines comprising multiple formats of data
- understanding of data modelling, architecture, workflow management (orchestration) solutions in distributed systems
- experience with scalable, distributed data infrastructures using SQL and NoSQL databases
- relational and non-relational database systems
- experience in writing scripts in Bash, Python with the ability to write test-driven reusable code that is easy to maintain and well documented
- knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git
- preparation of technical requirements based on business input
Optional:
- configuring Business Intelligence Systems and creating reports and dashboards
- experience with docker and kubernetes
- technical coordination of ongoing projects
- experience with banking or financial sector products e.g. credits, payments, cards
Our Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of industry experience in the field
- Excellent communication skills
- Communicative English
Knowledge of the following tools and frameworks:
- PyCharm, IntelliJ, GitLab
Nice to have:
- Java / Kotlin
- BigQuery
- Kibana
