Location: remote / Wrocław + a few days per year on-site in Austria (Atzbach, Innsbruck)
Join VM.PL as a Junior / Embedded Developer and help develop real industrial products in close cooperation with hardware. The project is carried out in an agile way, in a small, focused team, with full technical support and onboarding provided on-site at the client’s location in Austria.
About the project:
You’ll be part of a team building modern solutions for passive fire protection and industrial construction, used in large-scale industrial and commercial buildings. The project combines electronics, mechatronics, and software development in an industrial environment. The company has been active on the market for over 35 years and stands out for its quality, innovation, and comprehensive approach to product development – from design to installation.
Your responsibilities:
Developing software for embedded systems (C/C++ and Python)
Programming sequential control systems
Integrating and testing code in cooperation with external teams
Verifying and maintaining software quality
What we’re looking for:
Knowledge of C/C++ and Python
Interest in electronics, mechatronics, controller programming and testing
Experience with microcontrollers, especially: STM32, Nordic nRF52, ESP32s3
Precision, independent working style, and a practical approach to problem-solving
Fluent communication in German; English at minimum B1 level is a plus
Willingness to travel occasionally to Austria (a few times per year)
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Fieldbus systems
Experience with low-voltage installations or work with electronic devices
